A motion to accept the treasurer’s report was made by Nancy, seconded by Donna and carried unanimously.

Old business

  • A motion was made by Donna, seconded by Jan and carried unanimously to approve retroactively the donations for the ordination and the coffee hours supplies.

  • Donna suggested that the rummage sale profits be kept in house, for emergency contingencies as the church is running on a very tight budget.

New Business

  • A flower-arranging seminar had been suggested for a fall program. This discussion was tabled until the September meeting.

  • The idea of helping with the repainting of the parish hall was not met with enthusiasm. It was generally felt that Epiphany had other priorities at the moment. Jan brought up the fact that there is a hole in the wall in St Joseph’s Hall near the offices that needs to be repaired.

  • Nancy mentioned that in the past high school graduates had received bibles from the ECW and Stephanie McClendon graduated this year. Jan said that Father De had already bought one for her. Nancy made a motion seconded by Cindy that the ECW reimburse Father De. It was carried unanimously.

The next meeting will be on September 10 at noon. Nancy will do the devotion.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 pm.

Respectively submitted

Nancy DELIERRE

A reminder that the ECW cookbooks are still on sale for the modest sum of $8.00 a copy. See Nancy before or after service. Remember these will make great presents for the hard to shop for people on your list.

Please don't forget the Crestview manor Bingo every 1st and 3rd Tuesday afternoon. See Leslie, Nancy, Ellen or Yvonne for details. We could use volunteers and/or bingo prizes.
