Welcome Bishop-Elect Kendrick

 

July 12, 2015 was a joyous occasion at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Crestview as we got to meet the Bishop-Elect, The Rev. J. Russell Kendrick pictured here with Epiphany vestry. On the left in back: Dennis Jackson & Christine Wakayama, Senior Warden, in front Chris Atkins, Junior Warden and Patricia Jackson, clerk. On the right: Fr. Kendrick, Dan Kelly, Fr. Tipton and Debbie Buckles.

Fr. Kendrick, a native of Fort Walton Beach, was elected bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast on Feb. 21, 2015 and will be consecrated Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Mobile Civic Center Expo Hall in Mobile, Ala. He and his wife Robin have two children, Aaron and Hannah.
